Hello, my name is Cynthia Johnson. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am skilled in a variety of counseling orientations and I seem to understand the client and use interventions that meet the client where they are with regard to gender, sexual identity, culture, and unique personality. I use a combination of the latest scientific interventions and a caring heart. I create a warm and accepting environment. I really love people and I know that there is something wonderful about every person that I cross paths with. Clients report that they feel supported, safe, and respected when they work with me.
Goal setting is important to gauge progress in counseling. With my clients, when we set up a goal, we do it with the idea that the client will have the best chance of success. Mountains can be climbed one step at a time.
