I hold extensive knowledge of the effects of intersectionality, marginalization, and lived experiences shape an individual’s identity. I have experience working with domestic violence, sexual trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, depression, anxiety, and anger management. I enjoy working with teens and adults in helping them understand how their issues are affecting their daily functioning and developing positive coping skills to help manage such obstacles.
Since 2014, I have been a certified sexual abuse and a domestic violence crisis counselor since the beginning of my internship. I also have extensive experience working depression, anxiety, and LGBTQ+ issues. I have learned to meet my clients where they are at and work at your comfort level, while challenging you slightly as we continue to work together.
In every session, I love to provide an empathetic, warm, safe, and welcoming space to all of my clients. I want my client's to know that our time together is their space and they can be their authentic selves without judgement.
