I'm Dr. Amanda Cummings Brandenburg (She/Her/Hers), a Licensed Psychologist in Charlotte, NC, and the proud owner of Cummings Brandenburg Counseling PLLC. My practice specializes in providing high-quality individual counseling services to adults 18+ yrs. In addition to my NC license, I have an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) with The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), which allows me to provide tele-therapy to clients in 40 states. I have over 10 yrs of experience providing psychological services in the Charlotte area and over 20 yrs of professional activities in the field of psychology
My primary goal when meeting with new clients is to establish a strong connection, making them feel safe and genuinely cared for. I am an insight-oriented psychologist who values building awareness of one's intrapersonal & interpersonal patterns over behavioral changes alone. My practice focuses on principles of social justice, inclusion, and empowerment.
