Aspire Counseling is a small group practice in Westport CT that works with adolescents and adults dealing with Mental Health and Addiction issues. It was started by Liz Modugno in 2012. She specializes in trauma, addiction and mental health and created a practice that addresses all of these. There are several therapists that can meet with clients and address their specific goals. The core work at Aspire is trauma therapy and how life events have contribute to unwanted and unhealthy behaviors, symptoms, and life circumstances. We work closely with other providers including APRNs, psychiatrists, schools and other community providers.

My clients come in with many different troubles and often, the troubles lead to a great many other problems that they have or have had in their lives. There is no problem too big and there is a way to live better. I believe we are looking for contentment. To feel "okay" and, today's society tries to warp us into believing we are not okay because we need something else than what we have right now. We all have the capacity to choose a better life, better relationships, better care for ourselves. The answer is not outside of us but within. I work with children, teens and adults that think they're not enough. We are all enough.

Our mission at Teen and Parent Wellness Centers is to provide concentrated and comprehensive treatment for mental health diagnoses and eating disorders for patients and their families. Our small-milieu settings allow for customization of care from admission through discharge/after-care. LIFT is the only Southwestern Connecticut program with PHP and IOP services offerings exclusively created and run by specialists and licensed providers. Unlike any other regional program, our direct service providers consist of a multidisciplinary clinical team of experts.

I am a child and family therapist who prefers to work with children who show oppositional behavior and other problematic behaviors. Are you experiencing difficulty communicating with your child?
