I aim to instill hope by getting to know you and your strengths, hearing your story, and finding the path with you that leads to positive changes in your daily life.

I've been practicing as a psychotherapist for over 30 years. I have been clinical director of mental health facilities and on the faculty of Tufts University School of Medicine. I welcome clients 14 years of age and older -- individuals and couples, and offer you a warm personal approach focusing on your specific needs. I don't believe in a "one size fits all" model of practice or that therapy should be "a way of life." Therapy begins with a careful assessment and plan. If what we are doing isn't working for you, we change it.

She has served as a 504 coordinator to provide services to students with health issues and make provisions within their educational settings. She has taken the training through the State of Connecticut's Judicial Branch to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem ("GAL"). This is a mandatory training to represent children within the legal system. She is a tireless advocate of the rights of children and their families.
