Making our mental health a priority can be intimidating, especially when selecting a therapist. My diverse background allows me to present my clients with extensive professional and personal life experience during each session. Prior to becoming a therapist, I served as a patrol officer with the Moore Police Department from 2012-2020. While in law enforcement, I was on the Hostage Negotiation Team (HNT) and Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) certified. I was on duty during the May 20, 2013 and May 31, 2013 tornadoes and have first firsthand knowledge of the trauma that was initiated after those catastrophic events.
Since leaving law enforcement, I have worked closely with my clients to overcome life’s obstacles. I have extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and offer several other modalities of therapy such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). I work with teenagers, women, and first responders.
