My goal is to help individuals identify the discrepancies between their values and behaviors. When one’s values and behaviors align, a great deal of joy and peace will inevitably follow. For example, if someone values family but they are neglecting their family in any way, they will experience a great deal of anxiety and distress because their behaviors are not in line with their values. I enjoy working with pre-adolescents, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, families, and athletes.
I adapt my therapeutic approach to the unique needs of the individual. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), trauma therapy in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also a Gottman Level 2 trained relationship therapist, as I believe the strength of the family begins with the couple.
