My ideal client would be someone who seeks to find meaning in their lives. They feel lost, as though they need direction. They often feel like their point of view is different and seek to understand themselves and others. Their needs are to feel safe, heard, and validated. Goals would include finding meaning in life and building a life based on that meaning, whether it be continuing their path with a renewed sense of purpose, starting a new job or going to school; ultimately identifying and channeling their inner beliefs into something that is productive and/or satisfies their needs.
I'm here to help by providing a safe foundation from which to explore. I provide CBT and work it in with narrative/ psychodynamic therapy. I work with adults, adolescents, families, LGBTQ, mood disorders, ADHD, personality disorders, psychosis. I have experience with all of what's listed and more.
I'd be happy to hear from you so we can discuss meeting. But buckle up because you'll hear some corny jokes and I often repeat CBT and general therapy sayings - practice makes perfect.
