Being a teenager or young adult can be challenging. Navigating body changes, social issues, school concerns, and thinking about life following school can be daunting for both the child and the parent. Anxiety and depression are prevalent among youth today. I focus on adolescents, teens, and young adults who need a space to freely talk through their thoughts and feelings with no judgment.
Additionally, I specialize in working with competitive athletes who struggle with issues that compromise their performance success. Athletes who struggle with mental blocks, performance anxiety, or other issues affecting their performance often do not get the mental health support they need and quit the sport they once loved. I want to avoid that outcome.
I endeavor to create a space where clients feel safe and comfortable discussing the hard topics they cannot share with others. Change is possible, but it is hard and takes effort. I will walk alongside you as you learn about yourself and make any changes you feel necessary to live the life you dream of.
