I have always felt that the art speaks louder than the words that we use to describe it. After working many years with chronically ill children in a hospital setting I have learned that there are so many more ways to heal than medicine and speaking alone. When we can open the door to our more creative side, the emotional healing can begin to flow naturally.
Art therapy may be something you have never tried, or maybe you don't feel that you are creative in any way, but the amazing thing about art therapy is that you do not need artistic skills to benefit from the therapy.
