Specializing in the treatment of trauma, I work with a variety of client populations. I have authored several novel treatment models which integrate both external and intrinsic character and perspective building tools. As a "Thriver" of a 20 year abusive relationship, I am able to combine my life experiences with my educational and professional endeavors. This insight allows for authentic and empathetic encounters with victims, survivors, and abusers. By not only seeking clarity, but understanding how to do it effectively and authentically, you can use it as a compass as you navigate through creating your own pathways
Create Pathways Counseling utilizes a novel empowerment model that encourages and allows for client-driven pro-activity in setting goals. In a supportive atmosphere, I help clients attain the growth they're striving for through the use of my own experiences and training skills.
We will start with an initial assessment to clearly define your short and long term goals, everything from communication skills to personal acceptance. We will use these goals as a foundation to create a strategy for attaining these objectives. Identifying barriers and opportunities through self-discovery leads to fulfilling the client's objectives.
