I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Argosy University Online Division and my Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University Tampa. My focus will be to assist you in discovering your strengths and persevering through life's challenges and difficulties. My therapeutic style involves using a solution-focused approach where we will create ideas for solutions to problems or challenges together. I believe self-care plays an important role in a person’s overall health.
I utilize a Person-Centered approach to assist in gaining self-confidence, self-esteem, and a strong identity. I have experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Structured Relationship Theory, anxiety, depression and substance abuse treatment. I have experience working with adolescents, early adulthood, and mature adulthood.
I like to offer a non-judgmental and relaxing space for therapy. Sometimes therapy can be stuffy and awkward. I do my best to make our time together enjoyable almost akin to sitting down and talking with a friend. I am also a Veteran of the Army National Guard after serving for 4.5 years.
