Hi, I’m Courtney Burch. I specialize in working with teenagers who have begun to stray from their family of origin. My passion is helping teenagers reconnect with their parents, in effort to divert them from a troubled young adulthood. I believe in the family system and that a healthy system can heal the wounds of the family. I have extensive experience in the substance abuse world/12-step recovery, though I have a soft spot for harm reduction and forgiveness. I believe in working through wounds of early life, creating connection, and assisting clients in finding a joyful state of being.
My challenges in young adulthood led me to earn an MS from Nova Southeastern University. I pride myself on collaborating closely with clients and families, using CBT, Structural, Strategic, Narrative, and EFT techniques, along with personal experience. I work from unconditional positive regard, focusing on acceptance, transparency, and building strengths.
I'm here to help you! Together, we will start with building an understanding of where you are and the challenges you are facing.
