I specialize in working youth 8 and older who are struggling with anxiety, depression, phase of life issues, school adjustment, oppositional behavior, mood disorder, juvenile justice involvement, bullying and self esteem issues. I strive to provide a nurturing and non judgmental space for youth to develop into their best self. I have over 15 years therapeutic experience working with youth in schools, residential and community settings. "It takes a village" is a concept that I introduce into my therapeutic relationship with youth, I support and connect youth and families with community and employment resources.
In my work with children my hope is to aid them in understanding who they are, what they can do, and who they wish to be. My work includes talk therapy, interactive therapeutic games, music, art work, and family sessions
Adolescent and teen years can be some of the most challenging times for the parent and child. However, this does not have to be navigated alone. Together, we can create a path to move forward in a safe and relatable environment.
