I have heard from so many people that they have tried therapy before, or they are afraid to, because they don't want to talk to someone who is "stuffy" or "technical". I love working with people across all ages with a sweet spot for young adults as well as those with alternative lifestyles and or spiritual beliefs.
I approach the therapeutic relationship as a partnership. I will journey along side you, wherever you are at on that journey, and provide support, compassion, honesty, and even a little humor to keep you moving towards your goals. I will help you navigate a path through all the turmoil so you can find peace even when your world is turned upside down.
I have been in the field of counseling since 2016 with an emphasis on trauma, adolescents, and substance abuse. I take a trauma informed approach to therapy which means that you determine the speed and depth in which you are ready to go, and I guide accordingly.
