I have worked with individuals that suffer from depression, anxiety, anger, and many other issues. I have worked for 9 years in a crisis role and have done critical incident stress debriefing following incidents which have been traumatic. My focus has been on resolving past trauma through EMDR and other modalities to heal from the past. I have had training in brainspotting and will seek new forms of trauma treatments.
I specialize in EMDR as well as other methods to deal with past issues and like to work with brain based recovery processes that are scientifically based. I have been trained in CBT and have seen it help.
I am here to help and to understand each person's point of view and experiences. No two people are alike and each will have their own goals and needs regarding the healing process. I like to hear when there is progress and that there is improvement in each person's life. I am open to negative feedback which will help me to grow as well.
