One of the reasons I enjoy being a therapist is that there is no such thing as an "ideal" client. People are all unique in their own ways and no two cases are ever the same. I accept the challenges of resistant or unsure clients, in fact it brings me the greatest satisfaction to help someone that doesn't believe that therapy can help them.
I tend not to box myself in with just one specialty. For example, I don't shy away from helping children. I enjoy helping people of all age groups, as I feel it makes me a more rounded professional. If I had to give a specialty, I would say I specialize in a client centered approach where the clients security and dignity are of the utmost importance.
