No matter what our age life has a way of throwing situations and challenges our way. These can be exciting and positive while at other times difficult to maneuver. As a therapist I offer a warm, compassionate, and accepting presence and deeply respect every individual who comes to me for help and support. I have been providing therapeutic services to children birth to 10 years, families, and adults for over 20 years. I've learned the importance of taking into consideration all aspects of each person's life as we explore the issues that brought you to seek help at this time.
I provide an eclectic approach that includes family systems, attachment theory and mindfulness and have a great deal of training in brain based treatment such as the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, The Whole Brain Child and Conscious Discipline. I also provide positive parenting approaches and techniques when addressing challenging behaviors.
Even more important than techniques I believe the therapeutic relationship has the greatest impact on working through issues, healing, and regaining hope. I've been told I have a unique ability and am a natural at connecting with others. I look forward to being a bridge of hope that leads to healing and a brighter future for you and your family.
