Vince has extensive experience working with teens and young adults to address a broad range of presenting concerns. Vince’s passion for the work that he does stems from his previous career as a personal trainer and competitive kickboxer, where over a decade of working with individuals to achieve fitness goals and improve athletic performance led to an appreciation for the mind-body connection and a deep respect for the influence each can have on the other. Vince aspires to bridge the gap between physical and mental wellness practices through the development of experiential forms of therapy.

I have been counseling addicts and alcoholics since 1993. I have inpatient, detox, outpatient and intervention experience. I have completed many assessments for teens at college that have been sent hiome for evaluations and treatment if needed. DWI and DUI assessments and education can be done at YOUR convenience and not according to an agencys schedule. My ideal client is a motivated client, that want's to make their life better, or recognizes that his or her substance abuse/addiction is causing major disruptions in their life. I also enjoy the challenge of the unmotivated client that I can help through the stages of change. Individual, group counseling and random drug testing (on site) are regular practices, family work and education are important services that I provide as well. I work closely with Psychiatrist's in Greenwich Ct, New Canaan Ct, and NYC when needed. These are trusted addiction specialist psychiatrists. I look forward to helping you and or your family member. When I am working with a client I become available 24 hours a day.

I am a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist in both Connecticut and New York. Following a respected twenty-year school psychology career in Westchester County-based public schools, I have opened a niche private practice focused on school neuropsychological assessment in Greenwich, CT that centers on my passion for helping students understand their strengths and challenges and ascertaining the best strategies to support their growth. Experienced with both a preschool and school-age population, I enjoy solving the “puzzle” of a child and determining the best ways for children to actualize their potential.

Life can be difficult with many trials and tribulations that can cause feelings of overwhelm or hopelessness. Sometimes we all need a bit of encouragement, validation, and a safe space to process these feelings. It may feel like you have no one to turn to or no one who will understand what you are going through. It takes a great deal of courage to acknowledge and seek someone to assist you in addressing these feelings and I would be grateful to have the opportunity to be that person for you!

I believe the therapeutic process is collaborative, rooted in rapport, and always leaves room for humor and humility. My strength lies in creating a therapeutic relationship that feels authentic, accessible, and safe. I'm often described as "down to earth" and honest. I believe you will also find that I am nurturing, witty, yet tactfully direct. I love working with clients who have never been to therapy before and be given opportunity to teach them how relatable and genuine this process can be.

I am a licensed clinical social worker, and I provide a gentle treatment approach. I have experience in a variety of clinical settings that broadened my understanding of mental illness. My experience led me to view symptoms as adaptive mechanisms. Despite our circumstances, I have found that we all possess an innate ability to survive extreme stress. My aim in treatment is to help you to recognize your abilities to move from surviving to thriving.

Current Availability: Late morning and early afternoon only. Within each person exists their own specific thoughts, feelings, and emotions. These are distinctly unique to the individual experiencing them - it is their truth. Sometimes though, these thoughts, feelings and emotions get intertwined and can be difficult to sort through. In these moments, clarity may seem very difficult to achieve. Through rediscovering your own many strengths (and yes, there are many!) we can identify ways that work for you to navigate these challenges and achieve getting to the destination you deserve to be at.

You may find that you are in a season in your life where talking to a therapist could help you process, gain better clarity, or just serve as an outlet. If this resonates with you I would like to recognize that it takes great strength in taking this step. It would be a privilege to connect with you. I look forward to walking through this journey alongside you while I demonstrate empathy and cultural competency.
