I have been in the counseling profession for 19 years, and provide individual therapy in addition to pre-marital counseling. I specialize in addictions, dual diagnosis, ADHD, and mood disorders. I also have an extraordinary compassion for those experiencing separation, divorce, grief, and loss.
I use a client-centered framework, having witnessed the enormous therapeutic power in providing unconditional positive regard to each individual. I provide a kind, caring, and warm atmosphere where clients feel comfortable being themselves. My goal is to provide an optimum environment for personal growth, where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted.
I enjoy joking and laughing with clients, believing immensely in the healing power of laughter. With a strong cognitive behavioral background, I highly value, and often recommend, engaging in therapeutic activities outside of therapy sessions. I also enjoy exploring and integrating my clients' spirituality into our therapeutic work.
