Welcome to Compassionate Behavior Analysis where mindful compassion meets contextual behavioral science! As a specialist in psychological science, Sophie teaches children and teens who struggle with psychological inflexibility to hone their self-acceptance, curiosity and resilience. And for many, psychological inflexibility is accompanied by academic, learning and social challenges. Instruction in emotional regulation and social skills can remediate academic and communication challenges, and boost self-esteem! And like academic and cognitive skills, flexible mindsets can be taught, and they can be taught to fluency.
At CBA, Sophie uses science-based strategies to assess, design instruction, and measure progress towards values-based goals. Through Explicit and Fluency-Based Instruction, she teaches the language and cognitive skills necessary for psychological flexibility and comprehension. She hopes to inspire in her clients a love of lifelong learning and curiosity.
