Often these patterns, which may or may not be labeled by society as an illness or a disorder, represent our best attempts at responding to harmful circumstances and relationships, trauma, oppression, and other real challenges. Whatever the past or present may hold, our work now is to become aware of our patterns and decide which ones to keep and which ones to replace in service of ease and connection instead of continued suffering.
The work I do is integrative, holistic, and relational. I view you as a whole person, and this includes the body, mind, emotional life, relationships, and cultural context, along with past and present experiences. Fundamentally we are forming a relationship that provides the container for your process to occur in whatever way you need.
Healing, growth, and change are part of living - and so is the pain, suffering, and trauma that get in the way of that.
