I work with adults, couples, adolescents who are struggling with relationship issues, anger management, PTSD, pain management, domestic violence, sexual abuse, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. My passion is to support you in your journey of self-understanding and emotional healing. We will work together to identify blocking beliefs and unhealthy coping strategies that keep you "stuck" from becoming who you were meant to be and living your life fully. My main approach is to use EMDR therapy for treating trauma-related issues (www.EMDRIA.org). I also incorporate Energy modalities (EFT, TFT), mindfulness techniques, cognitive-behavioral strategies. My anger management group is unique, effective, interesting. One client stated: "I've never learned so much in such a short time."
I believe that just as a wound moves toward healing, your mind and body also move toward healing when provided with the opportunity to get "unstuck." Often you can believe something in your head ("I know I'm okay"), but not in your heart, and are unable to move forward.
