Colleen Prentice LCSW, 118341. My practice is client-centered, collaborative, trauma-informed, and solution-focused, starting where the client is at. My approach is holistic taking in the whole person with ongoing assessment and treatment planning focusing on the client's goals. Client populations that I’m experienced with range from anxiety and depression to schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar disorder. I have also worked with clients who have ADHD and are on the autism spectrum as well as clients who have OCD. My age ranges from 7 to 82.
I like to create a Casual calming yet fun environment. An environment that places my clients at ease yet allows for Clients to feel free to express their self. I enjoy helping others and seeing the positive changes they make in their lives. I love Having the opportunity to help someone develop the tools they need to improve their quality of life.
My approach to goal setting is a collaborative process with the clients based on their needs and their assessment. Clients educated on smart goals and the importance of having goals to keep them motivated. A welcoming environment and to be well-informed of the clinical process.
