I love the evaluation process and often feel like a detective looking for clues to help explain what is going on. Sometimes we know something is not quite working, but need help figuring out the clues and what to do about them. I'm here to help guide you through identification of issues, treatment options and access to services or accommodations.
If your child is struggling, an evaluation can guide treatment and early intervention services. It is important as an evaluator that clients are not navigating treatment after testing alone. In addition to testing, I also offer therapy services using evidenced-based treatments. I prefer a whole family approach in order to ensure everyone is supported.
A comprehensive evaluation can assess several factors that may be contributing to a child’s difficulty. Is your child acting out, falling behind academically, struggling to follow everyday routines or not meeting developmental milestones? These issues can be overwhelming so I help parents navigate the testing process and how to determine best next steps.
