Constant worry can seem normal and protective when living with an anxiety disorder, but eventually it keeps us from something we want. It may be an experience, a relationship, a job - a goal that seems in reach (for about three seconds) until anxiety steps in and says "But what if...?" This is the tipping point for most people, when they decide to do what they want instead of what anxiety demands. Anxiety and OCD are divas, never completely satisfied and always demanding more. But it is possible to experience these demands without giving in, and to live your life with choices.
If anxiety is keeping you from the life you want and you are ready to make some changes, please reach out. Be prepared to experience some challenges, along with humor, and to share pictures of your dog (I'll accept cute cat pictures, too).
