Life can be a bumpy road we can often feel overwhelmed, scared, stressed, and at times alone. Therapy can be an intimidating thought but can act as a great catalyst for growth. Often we struggle to articulate our feelings in a way that can be heard which results in negative/destructive behaviors.
I work hard at creating an environment in which individuals and families feel comfortable to share their personal stories. I believe this is one of the most important aspects of therapy. Once trust is established, I focus on building a person's insight in regards to how they remain stuck in old patterns and focus on forming new ones.
At our core we all want to be heard, loved, and understood. We can work together to sift through the layers that cover this core and start to build a stronger sense of self which in turn can strengthen our relationships and eliminate old patterns.
