I love to help couples who are in distress and need an outside perspective to help them understand why they are getting stuck where they do and assist them in making the changes they need to in order to feel safely connected. I also enjoy helping couples who already have many strengths but want to improve their relationship further. I am one of the few therapists in Ohio certified in EFT-C (emotionally focused couples therapy.)
I provide "intensive" couples counseling by working with couples for 10-12 hours over a period of a few days. During these intensives, I use an emotionally focused approach (EFT), helping couples get to the very core of their distress. We accomplish in one week what often takes four to six months when using a traditional couples counseling approach.
I provide a warm, safe, accepting place for all types of relationships. I begin the process with a 20 minutes complementary virtual consultation to ensure that you feel I am a good fit for the type of work you are wanting to do with your partner.
