The ideal client doesn't exist. Everybody has issues ranging from traumatic experiences, difficulty family dynamics, medical comorbidities... the list goes on. What I ultimately aim to do is maximize and enhance overall well being through a therapeutic alliance. Many people find that their issue is simply not being able to comprehend or emotionally regulate themselves in a difficult situation. They need skills to do this. Their goal is to be able to function independently as much as possible. They want to thrive in the face of adversity because to them that means strength and courage.

Through an eclectic approach, I aim to uncover much of the underlying problem. Root-cause analysis is what I consider a large part of my practice. Simply feeling depressed or anxious is debilitating enough. Through behavior therapy we can modify overall lifestyle as well as learn coping skills to further an understanding of the self and push for success.
Complexity, individuality, uniqueness... they're all words that describe our personal lives and experiences. We may both experience the same circumstance, but have wildly different interpretations and understandings, as well as reactions. Utilizing many eclectic forms of therapy, I want to maximize strengths, provide coping skills, and enhance well being.
