"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves". A person, child or adult able to reflect and build on themselves will be able to do great things when they can seek guidance and help. Experience with suffering is a strength I see in my clients that has given them tools for growth that many others may lack. Someone who is in need of guidance, challenging, and strength building will be able to get their needs met from our sessions. Self care is hard, it's work, but with help this work can become much more manageable.

I incorporate behavioral training and modifications, sleep coaching and mindfulness, as well as home based activities for insight and reflection.
How do we manage all that life throws at us sometimes? The stress of parenting, relationships with our significant other, children and family members are vital to having a meaningful life. Add to this the life stressors of remote and in person work, turmoil within the world, as well as toxic social media, and we are faced with difficult emotional struggles. My years of practice has included work with children, adults and couples who are struggling to find a balanced way of life and happiness. Therapy is a big step, it's a commitment and a connection in working towards a life that has purpose and meaning for each of us.

In addition, I am the founder of Positive Mind Vision, LLC, and offer coaching services(non-clinical) to individuals and organizations across the country.
A major downfall in today’s fast-paced society is that many people feel unheard or unseen. Due to the constant need to conform and keep up, people don't have the time or the opportunity to discover who they are and what they want out of life. This leads to anxiety, stress, depression, issues in relationship, confusion, and low self-esteem. I strive to create a safe environment, free of judgement and negativity, and give my clients the opportunity for self-exploration. By giving them my full attention, they feel heard, validated, and encouraged to pursue their greatest desires according to their own beliefs, and new found aspiration.

I've been an LICSW for 15 years but I've shifted to Transformational Coaching because of a desire to help guide people in a different way.
Alone. It's how so many of us feel inside. Even in the midst of a career, relationship or family, we may feel unseen and unheard, have trouble setting boundaries and priorities, find ourselves coping unauthentically, while experiencing a yearning for connection, meaning and a sense of deeper purpose. Others may be living with chronic illness or pain or have suffered a significant loss in their lives. I know exactly how that feels, and more importantly, as a Transformational Coach and Interfaith Minister, I know how you can experience a safer, more powerful, authentic, and connected way to walk in the world.

Why do I need therapy? Therapy is for people who are crazy or out of control! I should be able to do this by myself! Asking or getting help means I'm not capable or strong. People are in therapy "cause they have to be." Couple's therapy is a last resort. Family therapy doesn't work/is not for me. Are any of these questions going through your mind? Is it helpful to know you are not alone? Sometimes, people are apprehensive about engaging in therapy or leery about continuing with therapy. All of the above reactions are understandable considering people's experiences. Licensure supervision/professional consultations offered.

Coaching Therapists
Life coaching is an increasingly popular profession that has no specific licensing or academic requirements. Though psychologists also often consider themselves life coaches, these therapists don't focus on treating mental illness. Instead, they help individuals realise their goals in work and in life.
