I provide telehealth therapy and serve all of California and Colorado. I specialize in twice-exceptional teens and professional adults. I fit best with clients who appreciate humor and laughter, prefer natural-feeling conversations, and who are looking to build a therapuetic relationship based on genuineness, acceptance, and transparency. Clients who typically benefit most with me include clients struggling with sadness, worries, emotional swings, stressful situations or events, social or relationship challenges, or high-functioning autism.

My primary objective when clients begin counseling is to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment to speak openly. I believe in the progression of change and enjoy working with various challenges that life presents to us. I strive to use a collaborative style of counseling, focused on helping clients gain a sense of empowerment. My emphasis is on the importance of increasing insight and awareness, as well as strengthening one's relationships and support systems.

Currently accepting new clients .... Why is change so hard? Because we are often not aware of what we do or why we do it. My specialty is diving deeply into the mind and helping you experience change at a fundamental level. This requires no special knowledge or skill on your part, only willingness to explore and an openness to what you might find. Just like your body, your mind knows how to heal itself. My role is to facilitate that process. I provide a safe environment, compassionate feedback, and supportive challenge when needed. I also offer Neurofeedback to improve concentration, sleep, anxiety and ADHD.

My passion is helping children, teens, and young adults work through transitional seasons and changes in their lives. I strive to create an environment where individuals and families feel seen, accepted, and understood. I am a Christian and will incorporate faith-based elements when it's welcomed, but that is completely up to you.

As a Registered Play Therapist who specializes in working with children 10 and under, I believe and know that children cannot process the same way that we adults do, which is why talk therapy won't work well for them. For children, play is their language and the toys are their words (Landreth). I am trained to communicate and use their play to reach their goals ( little do the kids realize what important work they are doing!) My job is to help them realize their best selves while helping you as their parent and caregivers understand and parent them in ways that can speak not only to their strengths but yours as well.
