I enjoy working with couples and individuals in all walks of life. I work with couples to understand feeling/expressing love, improving communication and working on relationship skills. I am also a Licensed Addiction Counselor and work with individuals struggling with all forms of addiction; including alcohol, substances, pornography, sex, gambling, cigarettes, and electronics.

I specialize in substance use and related mental health disorders which are common but remain stigmatized due to misunderstanding and fear. Recovery is possible without hospitalization or medication in the privacy of your own home. Maintaining participation in and control of your life during treatment is paramount for recovery. Complete abstinence may not be the primary goal, rather, harm reduction and stability may be preferable and certainly achievable. No matter your personal recovery goals, you can recover health, stability, and joy in your life and I can guide you through it.

I am passionate about working with kids and with family preservation. I hope to be an advocate for a child when they may not otherwise have one. I aim to help families connect and better understand one another to create a more cohesive home environment. As an artist, I am especially passionate about using art as healing. Hannah Hemming is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado. Hannah has been practicing evidenced-based individual, group, and family therapy, as well as diagnostic assessment since 2016. Life can be tough and along the way we make adaptations to do our best to survive. We are always doing the best we know how, with what we have.
