I am especially passionate about working with clients with trauma, pain management, chronic/terminal illness, addiction, grief, sleep disruption, and anxiety. Dylan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who has been practicing since 2016. She graduated from Edgewood College in Madison Wisconsin with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. You can expect to be met with unconditional positive regard and warmth when you meet with Dylan. You'll experience a safe space where you can engage in collaborative conversation that allows you to explore and understand yourself and your relationships in new ways. Dylan understands that starting therapy can be overwhelming and scary, and will take time to build a strong foundation with you before diving in.

Welcome! Alpine Meadows Counseling provides professional counseling services for individuals, couples and families. Currently, I do not have openings for couples or families. I work with individuals with a variety of issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, stress, grief/loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self esteem/personal growth, adolescent issues, behavioral problems, intimacy, communication and divorce. Sarah Van Norden is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Candidate with a Master's in Science for Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. In addition to her two years of professional work, Sarah has an extensive history of engaging in the mental health field through providing advocacy and social awareness, as well as experience supporting family members struggling with chronic mental illness. Sarah operates from a compassionate, trauma-informed approach primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I enjoy working with families from a holistic perspective. I work with children struggling with nightmares, night terrors, behavioral issues, emotional outbursts, withdrawal, and aggressive behavior. Current life changes such as divorce and the difficulties children face when dealing with such difficult circumstances may cause a multitude of changes in behavior for a child. I am a Theraplay and play therapy trained counselor. My approach is to work with families to help the child become healthier and stronger. I use a combination of therapies to help clients have a sense of felt safety which leads to a calmer nervous system.
