I utilize a variety of counseling interventions including CBT, DBT, and therapeutic play, and I value humor and creativity! I also have experience with the LGBTQIA+ community and know firsthand some of the some of the challenges that come with being a part of that community.

My ideal client wishes to get help, recognizes that I can’t “fix anyone”, and is willing to take the time to work on themselves with the tools I can provide to them. I don’t want to be their expert but rather their guide down the path of self discovery with their understanding that I don’t judge my clients, nor do I have any expectations of them other than their desire to help themselves. This model is only for my adolescent to adult clients. Kids rarely think they need help. I’ve always imagined that I’m on the planet to help people who are marginalized, like victims of trauma, special needs kids, women and our frail elderly.
