Jessie Stempel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado. She attended Hampshire college for undergrad and Columbia University for her Masters in Social Work. Jessie provides clinical services to adults, adolescents and children suffering from the psychological impacts of trauma, stress, grief/loss, family dysfunction, and mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and bipolar disorder. Her approach to therapy can be described as strength based, holistic and eclectic.

I am a doctor of Psychology who has gained a high level of education and training in both Western and Eastern therapeutic and healing methods. I synthesize my methods and create an individualized treatment plan for each client. The client plays a major part in creating the treatment plan and the goals that will be reached throughout the therapeutic process. A holistic approach considers all facets of the body and the human experience. The client can be assured that the practitioner will have knowledge and expertise in many domains that have been synthesized into a new approach to growth, transition, transformation, and healing.

Now offering in-person Animal Assisted Therapy on Oahu! Transpersonal means “trans” transcend beyond the person “personal”. This style of therapy uses different modalities to work beyond the ego-self. It consists of working with 3 layers; the mind, body, and soul. This might look like hanging out with the animals at the sanctuary, EMDR, hypnosis, yoga, meditation, dreamwork, astrology, CBT, and other techniques to explore all levels of our experience.
