By reshaping narratives, learning self-compassion skills and new behaviors, and focusing on your values, we'll change your relationship with anxiety and other dominant problems.
Envision a life where the obstacles you face, such as depression, anxiety, fear, and loneliness, no longer hinder your progress. The unease and apprehension of feeling worried, guilty, adrift, or uncertain can be overwhelming. When these concerns cloud your mind and hinder your sense of purpose, they profoundly impact your mood, relationships, and overall quality of life. In a life unburdened by these challenges, you can cultivate deeper, more meaningful relationships, derive greater satisfaction from your professional and personal endeavors, and better manage worries and fears.

I believe healing begins by healing our relationship to ourselves and learning to see ourselves more clearly.
Welcome! Finding a therapist can be a vulnerable and challenging task, I’m glad you're here. I work with folks hoping to create new patterns, behaviors, and grow deeper connections with themselves. Are you someone who overthinks, analyzes, or is constantly stuck in your head? Have you been told in the past that you are “too sensitive” or things are “not that big of a deal”? Perhaps you have felt misunderstood or invalidated by those around you, causing you to isolate or retreat to your thoughts. If you're struggling with a harsh inner critic and seeking to move towards more self compassion, we may be a good fit.

Specializing in individual therapy, I have honed my skills in addressing a range of issues from anxiety and depression to addiction and relationship concerns.
During times of significant transition or stress, such as a big move, divorce, loss of a loved one, a career change, or relational challenges, therapy can be very useful. Sometimes, individuals seek out therapy as a way to develop strategies for personal growth, life skills, and or improved interpersonal communication. Other times, my clients choose to work on a long-standing mental health struggle such as depression, anxiety, addiction, or grief and loss. Therapy is right for anyone who has a desire to learn more about themselves and make positive changes in their wellness, relationships, or daily life.

Connection is one of the most powerful forms of healing. Whether you are feeling isolated, stressed, or overwhelmed in your life, healing often begins with sharing the burden with another person. You’ve taken the first and sometimes the hardest step towards starting therapy. I’m glad you’re here. I am a queer therapist and it is my greatest joy to work with my queer community. I work with people who hold intersecting identities and have experienced a wide range of concerns including trauma, PTSD, gender dysphoria, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. I offer individual, relationship, and group therapy.

I have over 15 years of experience working with children experiencing a variety of life stressors (adjustments, loss, abuse, family changes) and emotional or behavioral concerns (depression, anxiety, selective mutism, defiance, attention issues, relationship problems).
Childhood is one of the most transformative periods in life; each journey is unique and unpredictable. Parenthood mirrors this, full of surprises, challenges, and opportunities. Whether you have a baby or toddler you may be struggling to connect with or an older child in need of support, having a trusted guide during these crucial developmental stages can significantly impact their growth and well-being now and in the future. My goal is to use my training and experience in play therapy, brain science, and attachment to create a supportive environment that fosters stability, understanding, and compassion for your child.

Together we can initially build a therapeutic relationship instilling trust, and begin to uncover the authentic person you deserve to be.
Are you feeling stuck? Or perhaps anxiety, fear, other emotions, or memories are preventing you from being your true self? Asking for help can feel intimidating, and at the same time everyone needs help at some point in their life. I am glad you are starting this process. I am here to work together with you on your concerns, issues, or perhaps the much needed space of a listening ear. I find it can be difficult to vocalize our emotions, share our story, or be our true selves due to many underlying emotions.

Do you ever feel preoccupied by feeling "too much" or "not enough?" Do you feel gnawing uncertainty more often than not? Maybe you have become so focused on the needs of others that you have lost yourself. Life isn’t going the way you thought it would. You might not know where to begin amid mental health trends. You might be sober-curious. You might have dating burnout or fallout with friends and family. I am heart-centered and direct in my approach, because when I feel emotionally supported in a counseling relationship, self-development work just flows.

Women's issues include relationship violence, disordered eating, social anxiety, sexual discrimination and trauma, or transitioning to puberty, postpartum, or menopause.
We go to therapy because we want to feel better. Dealing with anxiety and low self-esteem can feel like a package deal, and can make it hard to feel mentally healthy day-to-day. For many women, these symptoms may be associated with relationships, previous traumas, or negative body image. No matter what has happened to you, I believe it's possible to find healing, relaxation, and confidence. Finding a therapist you like can be hard, so please take your time to look around, ask plenty of questions, and reach out if you think we may be a good fit! To get to know more about me and my practice, please visit my website.
