My role as an art therapist and counselor is to actively assist each client in their own unique process of discovering their insights and strengths to help them navigate the primary issues that have brought them into therapy. My goal is to create a safe, accepting, and trusting environment for my clients. I value the art process as an approach to healing. I am a trauma informed therapist. I draw from strength based, cognitive behavioral, humanistic, experiential, and person centered approaches to therapy.

I have been in the mental health/wellness field since 1985 and in private practice since 1998. I have worked with a richly diverse group of individuals dealing with life in all of its complexities. I have felt honored throughout this time to walk along side the courageous individuals that have invited me to share in their journey.
