I support clients in their spiritual transformation and evolution as a soul. Rather than just focusing on better functioning or development of stronger ego, the work I do is about integrating our humanity with our divinity. We transform by centering in and living from our core essence, our embodied Soul. The solutions to life's problems come not from fixing anything, but rather from meeting challenges with love and then turning our focus towards what we wish to create. This is done in partnership with Spirit by facing our blocks and allowing our Soul to dissolve those unloving thoughts and inspire us to new heights!

I understand that starting therapy can be a scary process. I work to create an open and inviting atmosphere for everyone who walks through my door. It is important to feel like you have a "good fit" with your therapist, which is why I take the time to listen to what brings you in, hear your personal goals and explain what you can expect from therapy. It's not my job to judge, blame, or take sides. I will work with you to provide applicable tools and resources, identify your personal strengths and offer new ways of communicating to provide relief.

Life is hard. Hurt happens to all of us. Sometimes it is intentional, sometimes unintentional. When it happens, we are left with a wound that, if left unexamined, can affect every aspect of our lives: body, soul, and spirit. Lancing the wound can be painful, especially those wounds caused by trauma and abuse, but the compromised life that we live if we don't examine the wounds is often as painful as the original wound. Choosing to face the pain is a courageous act, and successful resolution requires a safe and supportive atmosphere with safe and knowledgeable professionals.

Growth and healing are a huge part of our life process. And, that doesn't mean it isn't hard. Everything we experience molds who we are and how we see ourselves and the world. Sometimes those experiences are really rough. Our current society is one that encourages people to “pick themselves up by the bootstraps” and keep moving forward without help. There is nothing wrong with getting support on your journey. A new perspective and support could be just what you need to move forward in your life in a more fulfilling way. I believe we all have what we need already inside of us. Sometimes we just need a little help to remember it.

Before starting her own practice, she spent 8.5 years at a Christian non-profit counseling center serving a variety of populations. Before joining that group practice, Erin interned at Medical Center of the Rockies, which grew her heart for healing trauma and working with medical professionals and first responders.

I believe in healing through therapeutic relationship. Establishing trust creates a safe container in which to experience change. I identify as an able-bodied, white woman and I continue to work on my education and awareness of how my privilege in these identities impacts others. My graduate work was at Naropa University, where I deeply connected with the Buddhist roots of my education. I welcome people from all religions and backgrounds.

I believe that people do the best with what they have. Trauma, stress, anxiety and adverse life experiences can, at times, derail us from being our “best”. My role as a therapist is to help you reach your pinnacle. I always work from a strengths-based and client-centered focus. The client is the expert of their own life, but I serve as an agent for change to assist in developing, applying and supporting the therapeutic growth. I have experience with children, teenagers, young adults (up to age 35), couples and families.

I am accepting children-adult clients! Do you think you feel things too deeply? Or that whatever normal is, you are next to it? If so, I can relate! My goal is to create a space where those I work with are not labeling themselves as "the problem," or for them to feel powerless in their big feelings and behavior patterns. Instead of asking why you felt too much or did xyz wrong, we should be asking what you have done right to make it this far. I take a strengths-based approach to therapy. We will explore your experiences and interactions through play, art and story-telling in order to accomplish your goals and celebrate who you are!

My clients are generally students (GED to PhD) who wish to maximize their academic experience so they may boldly go where their heart takes them with confidence and enthusiasm. Students and researchers often struggle with mental health and academic performance in isolation - rarely reaching out for support. I help students identify and work through their challenges, build strategies for success, find their path, and thrive!

Choosing to see a Therapist can be a big decision. I'll help you take those first few steps to get to know yourself better, build stronger relationships, and heal from the parts of you that hurt. I enjoy working with ages 18 and up, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and anyone going through life transitions. My approach is fairly direct and I utilize strengths-based and solution-focused methods. We'll work to define your goals and move closer to reaching them (or surpassing them) in a safe, confidential space. I provide remote/telehealth therapy so you can have your session from the comfort of your home or couch and save time in your day.

I have have a lot of experience with anxiety, depression and OCD, as well as helping people with big life changes, self esteem, and relationship issues. Everybody is different, so in working together I will listen to you and what you need from me to help you the best. A big reason I decided to become a therapist due to the belief that if people are more connected and insightful about themselves—and how they impact the world—the world itself will become a better place.

As a former victim advocate with Colorado Springs Police Department, I have a deep passion for helping victims of crime regain their power and find their center. It is through my work with law enforcement and victims of crime that I have gained a deep understanding into the dynamics of trauma, vicarious trauma, secondary trauma, and repercussions of untreated PTSD. It has also been my experience that the vast majority of addictions stem from untreated and unaddressed adverse life experiences that are inherently trauma related.
