I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I only meet online and I accept insurance for individuals but not for couples. I work best with clients who are dedicated to developing new skills that are proven to help with couples issues, anxiety, depression, borderline, bipolar, and addiction. I'm highly competent with and welcome clients of diverse backgrounds including but not limited to LGBTQ+, non-monogamous, sex positive, kink aware, and type 1 Autism (Asperger's). My clients learn how to develop healthier thinking patterns and integrate new behaviors that effectively improve relationships and manage difficult emotions.

I primarily use Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Everyone has times in their life when they feel stuck, indecisive, and deeply troubled. Engaging in therapy can help you find answers, find peace, and happiness. In my work with clients I implement a strength-based approach and a strong belief that change is possible, that challenges can be addressed and resolved, and even used for personal growth. I view my role as a therapist is to guide and empower individuals to tap into their own hidden wisdom and limitless potential.

I employ a blend of person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches.
I chose to become a mental health professional because I firmly believe in people's ability to change and create fulfilling lives. With the ebb and flow of life, sometimes we just need a little help. As a veteran, I bring a diverse perspective to my work. I understand the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that inform my approach to counseling. I bring a compassionate and personalized approach to therapy as each client's journey is unique. I provide a supportive therapeutic relationship that can give you the space you need to learn more about yourself and what you need to overcome life's challenges.

I use various therapeutic approaches, including CBT,DBT, SBFT, holistic practices and somatic techniques to address each client’s needs.
I believe that generational trauma, attachment style, family upbringing, intersectionality and cultural conditioning all influence how we experience the world. It is up to us to identify and unlearn maladaptive patterns of behavior. My goal is to help you feel connected to yourself and others through increased self-awareness. Most of my professional experience has been working with individual kids, adolescents and adults on problems related to self-esteem, stress, anxiety, relationships, trauma, identity development, among other things.

I provide an emotion-based approach to Cognitive Behavioral therapy that will focus on supporting you, as you minimize your triggers, reveal your own strengths, and find calm.
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2017. I have had the opportunity to work with multiple populations, including refugees, survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, individuals struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse and sexual addictions. Seeing people's hope and desire to survive has always inspired me as a counselor, which pushes me to provide empathy for all those I have the honor of working with. I am a Level Two EMDR therapist, with eight years of trauma informed care working with PTSD, depression and anxiety.

I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy and EMDR to assist you in fully healing and releasing complex trauma and single event trauma experiences.
You are unlike any other being that exists. You are a creative force. You go against the grain and it might feel like you don't fit in. Society has tried to box you in for so long that you've pushed away and hidden little parts of your soul. You may have numbed your feelings and ignored your heart's desires as a trade for comfort, stability, acceptance, and normalcy. I understand, because I've been there too, but this is what I know for sure. Our soul is crying out for true freedom. I will hold a safe space for you as we move towards healing what is blocking you from living your most powerful, abundant, and limitless life.

For over 27 years, I've helped people transform their lives by providing consistent support, Cognitive-Behavioral therapies for better habits, Mind-Body Therapies for better health and emotional regulation, and EMDR therapy to work through unresolved trauma.
Have you been dealing with symptoms of anxiety, depression, unresolved pain, or anger? How you feel impacts so many things- your relationships, your health, your sleep and your work. You may have tried making some changes to feel better on your own, however, you may be frustrated by your progress. You know things could be better. Finding a therapist you truly connect with can help you gain the skills you need to transform your life into one that feels calmer, more joyful and healthier.

I specialize in trauma work with informed modalities like Brainspotting, Somatic Therapy, and Trauma-focused CBT to integrate and heal adverse experiences.
It takes some serious guts (and often - pain) to come to a place of resolve and change. If you’re here reading this, you’ve likely been through it… The individual who usually finds the most growth with me is someone who is ready to enact positive, healthy change in their life and build/foster beneficial relationships. They've come to a place where the pain of staying the same has become greater than the pain of change. My client can rely on me to challenge thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve, but especially to support, encourage, and be a safe place to land!
