I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience counseling in inpatient and outpatient settings to individuals and families ages 6 – 80. My specialties include counseling kids, adolescents, and adults with innovative, evidenced based therapy approaches (including EMDR) that yield productive counseling sessions in a less confrontational style. I have a proven track record of improving confidence, hope, and success, while simultaneously decreasing stress and anxiety in the clients with whom I work. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, my collaborative approach is tailored to your individual needs and goals.

As a member of the queer community (agender, pan/lesbian), I have personal/professional experience providing knowledgeable and affirming care for people of many identities and types of relationships, including neurodiversity. I have specific experience working with queer kids/youth and their families; queer kids/youth have unique challenges in coming out, navigating family/peer relationships, interactions with school, and negotiating transition tasks.

We provide outpatient individual, relational, family and group counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and relationships of all configurations. I am a Colorado native and do my very best to live up to the stereotype! I love everything outdoors and try to spend as much time outside all year round, as I can. I am married and have two dogs, as well as a baby girl on the way. I enjoy reading, crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family. My Bachelor's is from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in Psychology & Neuroscience and my Master's is from Argosy University, Chicago.

The issues which I enjoy working with the most are those related to relationships and family dynamics. One of the areas of most interest to me is working with individuals who are coming out of a relationship with a partner who had narcissistic personality traits. I became licensed as a marriage and family therapist in 1998 and have worked as a family therapist in substance abuse treatment programs, residential treatment programs for children and adolescents, and residential treatment programs for women. I also work with many individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and trauma.
