I combine my experience of working with individuals and families with my knowledge and passion for different evidence-based practices to help my clients achieve their goals. I believe that therapy works best when we're open to being challenged and held accountable towards breaking patterns that no longer serve us. All seriousness aside, I do truly enjoy getting to know my clients as people first and can guarantee a good laugh or two! Clients of mine have said that I am personable, easy to talk to and will provide a warm, supportive environment to foster growth.

There is a narrow margin between meeting the demands of our daily lives and becoming overwhelmed. As our lives require more and more of us, our resources of time, patience, and compassion can dwindle. If you are reading this because you are seeking help with rediscovering the person you want to be, I see you. I believe we are all doing our best. I also believe most of us come to a point in our lives when we realize the strategies we have learned aren't yielding the results in our lives we intended. My goal is for each person who leaves my office to understand themselves a little bit better and be a more authentic version of themself

I work best with those who think outside the box. These are clients who would rather live authentically than fit into the societal mold, whether this pertains to one's career, relationship(s), sexuality or gender. Our societal norms aren't just unhelpful in certain situations; they can be downright harmful. Trying to adhere to monogamy is going to make a polyamorous person miserable, and trying to conform to neurotypical social cues can be terribly disheartening for someone with autism. And some norms, like how we're taught to perform masculinity, can be damaging for everyone, no matter our identity.

Has talk therapy not been enough? Do you feel the pain, anxiety, and hurt are stuck in the body? You are not alone. Trauma & loss can take all different forms and sit in our body & mind in a variety of uncomfortable ways. In counseling survivors of sex trafficking, I have encountered difficult stories & complex trauma. After working overseas, I also can understand how hard transitions, feeling out of place & grief are. I take a trauma-informed & holistic approach. This means incorporating the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of you while understanding the impact of the past.

Life can be challenging and inevitably ends up throwing us curve balls we don't expect or see coming. Because of life's intricacies, sometimes we need a space to come and sort them all out. It is my goal to provide that warm and open space for you. The space to come talk about and process the difficulties you are experiencing and feel heard in doing so. I would love to work alongside of you and collaborate in finding your strengths, learning new coping skills, and moving towards healing and a more fulfilled life.

You wish you could just relax, but all the responsibilities of modern life get in the way. It’s hard to feel hopeful when you’re always so drained. You may be fed up with the constant anxiety of trying to keep it all together, feeling alone trying to meet everyone’s expectations, or doubting that things will ever get better. You might not even remember a time things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to feel happy. You’re ready to feel connection and love. Most of all, you’re ready to take back control of your life.
