I work with adults who feel stuck in life and experiencing depression, anxiety, and/or trauma, especially those who want to find empowerment in life. I have a lot of experience working with teens and young adults moving through a transitional phase of life or dealing with childhood trauma. Together we can create a safe therapeutic relationship that will help you heal and create the life you want.

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am dedicated to helping adults and families navigate the complexities of life with compassion and evidence-based practices. I specialize in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and nervous system regulation techniques to address symptoms of anxiety, depression, past trauma, and relationship dynamics. My approach is rooted in the belief that each individual possesses the capacity for growth and healing.

I am a bilingual therapist, in English and Spanish, who loves working with a variety of clients. I work with individuals, couples, and families. My passion is working with clients who come from intricate family systems, underserved populations, and children. As a Latina therapist, I enjoy giving back to the community by helping clients who struggle to find a therapist or simply do not look for a therapist due to the language barrier.

The process of going through therapy can feel daunting to many, and even just starting may feel like the hardest part. The good news is that you do not have to go through this process alone. I believe that the cornerstone of therapy is the relationship formed between clients and their therapist. An authentic therapeutic relationship is built upon being empathetic, genuine and present with clients. I work through a client-centered framework and incorporate techniques from CBT and DBT to help clients gain insight into themselves and learn new skills that can be applied through life’s many hardships and triumphs.

I have have a lot of experience with anxiety, depression and OCD, as well as helping people with big life changes, self esteem, and relationship issues. Everybody is different, so in working together I will listen to you and what you need from me to help you the best. A big reason I decided to become a therapist due to the belief that if people are more connected and insightful about themselves—and how they impact the world—the world itself will become a better place.

I believe issues in our lives arise from a lack of connection to others and to the internal parts within ourselves. Once we strengthen these connections and resolve inner conflict, we are able to reach a state of feeling more integrated and authentic. I see individuals who want to overcome trauma, anxiety, stress, anger, depression, mental distress, self-esteem, career challenges, relationship issues, grief/loss, and life/role changes.

I want to be most helpful to people in relationship with one another, whether that is in a family or a couple. Humans are relational beings and when our closest relationships are not healthy it can effect every aspect of our lives. I work with couples who want to find what was lost, repair deep pain or hurt, or learn how to better understand each other's needs and how to communicate with one another. I work with individual clients as well who want to learn more about themselves and how they can gain mastery over the circumstances of life that have weighed them down. We all want to feel seen and heard by our loved ones.

I work with people to reduce shame and guilt all while learning to increase self love, confidence and acceptance.

I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist that assists children & adolescents, couples, and families achieve their personal and relational goals. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Johnson & Wales University in 2020. I continued my education and received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on couples and family therapy from the University of Northern Colorado in 2023.

I believe that change, although painful and challenging at times, is the only consistent thing about life, and that's when we grow. Don't avoid being uncomfortable! Lean in! Our ability to acclimate to change is vital. My personal belief is that EVERYONE has the innate capacity for change and growth, even though life's toughest curve balls! I hold a firm belief that the client is the expert, as they have lived and led their own lives.

Change can be scary. And so can be staying the same. I am inspired every day by the courage clients have to choose to try to do something differently or work towards healing hurt parts of themselves. I believe in the power of therapy to create sustainable change and I am honored to be a part of a client's healing process.
