Thank you so much for taking the time to explore my practice. My emphasis is on adolescents and young adults who struggle with social, emotional, behavioral difficulties and relationship issues. These struggles include depression, low self-esteem, self-injury, anxiety, peer pressure, family difficulties, friend and peer difficulties, bullying, substance use, or academic achievement challenges. I am committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment without judgment or assumption. My relaxed and inviting approach allows me to focus on my clients current needs and create realistic goals. I strive to ensure you are getting what you need out of our time together.

Are you wanting to feel different, think differently or have different relationships? Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps you feel better faster. You might be wanting to heal from trauma, or improve your performance, strengthen your connection to others, or lead in healthier ways. I am EMDR Certified and an EMDR Consultant. To support EMDR therapy I also use attachment theory, ego state and parts work and include HeartMath, a science-based biofeedback in treatment. As we work together, the work integrates helping calm the nervous system to provide more integration and improve overall health and wellness.

Christine believes that healing comes from within, and the body was designed to heal itself. She is passionate and knowledgeable about integrative mental health as well as functional nutrition. She is dedicated to educating clients on living in true health and restoring imbalances to achieve strength and wellbeing. She has over 35 years work experience within and outside alternative healthcare and is excited to help people recapture the life they are meant to live. She has coached many clients into dynamic life transformation through counseling, coaching, and nutrition and lifestyle changes.

I work with people who struggle with substance use and trauma, stress and depression, helping clients to get unstuck from old patterns that cause unhappiness. My experience has been that clients find the right answers and resolve their own issues, once they are able to talk through their struggles and look at them in a different way. My clients may struggle with addiction, anxiety, or trauma - we work for them to be able to "get out of the rut" they've been stuck in. I like to have a good feel for my clients' lives and emotions, and that only comes from really being present, so I work almost exclusively face-to-face.

Change can be difficult for children and adolescents. Adjusting to new circumstances, routines, and relationships can bring about intense emotions and challenging behaviors. These stressors often lead to a pattern of negative interactions and power struggles which can leave parents feeling frustrated, powerless, and even embarrassed. This is not the life that any parent envisioned for their child or teen, yet it can feel impossible to make any real change. With help, though, families can break this cycle. Parents and children can repair past rifts and develop new, positive opportunities for connection.
