When we are struggling with emotional issues, relationship distress or transitions in our lives we often need to work through these to gain insight, relief, emotional growth and healing. My approach to treating individuals is informed by my training in ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS, Schema Therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology. My approach to treating couples is informed by my training in PACT II, Gottman Method I, EFT and EFFT.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over five years of experience supporting youth, adolescents, and young adults (ages 5-25) with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. I believe that every person has the ability to grow, heal, and build resilience, and feel that it is a true honor to partner with individuals and families to support this process. Over the last four years I have worked within public education providing individual and group counseling, crisis support, and parent consultation. I view my clients as a whole person, with unique strengths and needs informed by their environment and life experiences.

My passion Iies with working with individuals struggling with substance use and trauma survivors, and I have a background working with a diverse client population addressing issues ranging from basic family & relational needs, LGBTQ+ affirming care, individuals in the criminal justice system, to processing complex trauma. I utilize an integrative approach of evidence based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing.I seek to meet clients where they are at and adapt my approach to best meet the needs and therapeutic goals of my clients in order to facilitate personal growth and healing.

Some of my areas of specialty include eating disorders, active duty military/veterans, substance use/abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety and first responders.

Emotional pain can be the most stifling and difficult pain to endure, yet it can also be the catalyst for tremendous growth and insight. I specialize in helping clients of all ages who are struggling with trauma, complex trauma, depression, stress, self-esteem and interpersonal difficulties. My ideal client is one who is ready to be free from the impact of trauma, be it old or recent trauma, and is desiring growth and healing within themselves and their relationships. I also enjoy working with clients who are interested in looking at their issues through the lens of their spirituality.

Courtney Fisher, LPC Courtney Fisher is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado who has been practicing since 2020. She has a BA from The Ohio State University and an MA from the University of Northern Colorado. Courtney believes in a treatment philosophy that incorporates CBT, DBT, and is humanistic and eclectic. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys hiking, cycling, knitting, and crocheting.
