I became a Licensed Professional Counselor after over 35 years as a healthcare professional. I wanted to understand the mind-body reciprocal interactions and the power of the unconscious mind. If mental and/or physical suffering has left you feeling isolated, betrayed, and exhausted you may believe there is no way out. If you feel stuck at every turn, you are in paradox. Being in paradox is an indication that you are facing a profound opportunity to become your authentic self. If you are willing to take the deep journey into you, I am not afraid. I have seen the blackest black imaginable. There is a way out.

I know that I feel my best when I’m secure in my relationships: with myself, my spouse, my children, and community. This has created a practice for me of paying attention, listening and participating in conversations that both nurture and challenge these relationships. I will create a space, through our relationship, for you to do the same. And if it is your child that is seeking that safe space my playroom invites curiosity and emotions of all sorts. It is a safe space to work through trauma; with play as the language and toys as tools, and a soft spot to land when it gets hard and scary.
