Love. Joy. Ecstasy. Awe. In my 18 years of clinical experience, I’ve discovered that we each have far more capacity for these expansive feelings than we often realize. Whether you are contending with many challenges, or feel ready to fly through the stars, I can work with you collaboratively to shape a life that fulfills your highest dreams, and maybe even soars beyond them. I’m eager to share what I’ve learned about our abilities to break out of old patterns of pain, fear, and shame into fruitful creativity and communion with the most inspiring aspects of being alive.

You're feeling stuck, unsure which way to turn. Life's challenges seem overwhelming - relationship struggles, work stress, nagging self-doubt. You want to feel grounded again, to rediscover your sense of purpose and direction. Deep down, you know there's more to life than just going through the motions. You long to feel truly alive, to have meaningful connections, to wake up excited about each new day. But right now, that feels out of reach. You're tired of feeling lost and are ready to find your way forward.

I’ve been seeing clients in psychotherapy since 1990. My clients come from all social locations. They’ve all been in some kind of life-change process, often in the midst of some inner or outer crisis. I also see young therapists seeking supervision toward their LPC and to learn from the intensity of their own work with clients. Some of my clients have experiences with psychedelics and are seeking help to integrate their experiences. I’m in a 9 month training in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI), a training for licensed professionals.

When our lives become challenging, having an objective and caring 'other' to talk with can alleviate or decrease symptoms. Depression and anxiety are so common in our society and culture. Trauma is something people are experiencing more and more. I would love to connect with you and assist you in/on your journey. I offer just simple, psycho dynamic, mindfulness therapy that supports your examination into your past and present.

Let’s be real. These are dark times, and uncertainty abounds. Old wounds may be coming to the surface, and the thought of facing them may feel downright terrifying……It IS terrifying. I believe that these moments are opportunities for us to learn, accept, and grow in our capacity to be Compassionate with ourselves, and with one another. This is how Transformational Healing occurs. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, anger issues, relationships with substances, or existential dread (perhaps all the above), YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Carl Rogers said, when we accept ourselves as we are, then we can change. Focusing on the individual and their unique capability toward healing is the guiding approach I take in therapy. I work with great curiosity to explore the distractions and negative cycles that may be keeping you stuck. The struggle for clarity is a difficult one to navigate in isolation; together we can look at patterns and behaviors that no longer service you. The therapeutic process is one of finding balance between the emotional and rational, the mind and body and bringing that forward into our lives.

Challenges are essential to growth. We all face challenges. The various challenges, crises, traumas we all inevitably encounter can create anxiety, depression, and disconnection. Unfortunately, labels and diagnoses can stop you from seeing that you are okay. As you are. Your felt experiences of hurt, when processed deeply, actually lead to self-discovery. Seeking help doesn’t mean that anything is necessarily wrong. In fact, expertise can guide you through these moments safely. Through somatic healing therapy, individuals and couples will find inner strength to start anew.

I would like to offer you a genuine connection. One where safety and trust is not only valued, but prioritized as a means to deepen. I have specialized training to work with both individuals and couples and believe in a collaborative approach to counseling. You are the expert on your own life but I will bring my own expertise to shape our work around your goals and needs. My skills and qualifications cover a variety of areas but clients experiencing relational distress, anxiety, difficulty setting boundaries, wanting to work on their relationship with themselves or others, or distress in parenthood may be particularly well suited. I have a passion for helping clients feel more connected, authentic, and engaged in their lives and relationships.

Are you questioning your life's values and beliefs? Maybe you don't have the motivation you wish you had to accomplish important things in your life, or maybe this is happening in your relationship with a loved one? Maybe you realized you've been following a path that turned out to be damaging for you either on a harmful relationship, or maybe a community of sorts?

You are going to hear me say this a lot: what do you want? Such a simple question that sometimes is not such a simple answer. Why is it that kids always know what they want but as adults we forget? To me, it is that life has gotten complicated and now we are unsure of the consequences of rocking the boat. I believe that those perceived consequences are just one piece of the puzzle and that there is unseen treasure hiding behind the wall of fear and anxiety for those daring enough to look.
