Life is not easy with all it demands, expectations and responsibilities. At some point in life and under certain circumstances life can become too difficult and we feel overwhelmed. We react with stress, anxiety, depression and trauma. This is the time when we are ready to look for support and to find ways improving our lives. Be it from a difficult childhood, the end of a relationship or from other hardships there are ways to heal. I have worked with children, and their parents, adolescents, adult men and women since 1984. I see people with a variety of concerns, which includes, but is not limited to, developing more rewarding relationships, parenting issues, making transitions in their lives, and loss & grief. Many people today feel overwhelmed with the pressures of living and trying to keep their heads above water. I help them to strategize ways to reach their chosen goals, and how to take better care for themselves and those they love.

As a clinical therapist with a passion for lighthearted wisdom, I specialize in LGBTQ/Queer issues and supporting all adults 18+ around a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, and grief. I also work with senior citizens, crafting a safe space for them to navigate life's transitions with grace. My modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and Brainspotting.

Life can get very messy, and things happen we just don't know how to handle. If you are going through something you are just not sure about such as relationship issues, abuse, anxiety, depression, affairs, raising teenagers or are just having trouble coping from day to day. Welcome! Alpine Meadows Counseling provides professional counseling services for individuals, couples and families. Currently, I do not have openings for couples or families. I work with individuals with a variety of issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, stress, grief/loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self esteem/personal growth, adolescent issues, behavioral problems, intimacy, communication and divorce. I have additional training in couples and family therapy.

I am deeply committed to supporting first responders through their unique challenges and individuals who are victims (survivors!) of crimes. My focus lies in addiction recovery and trauma therapy, providing a haven for those who have experienced tough or traumatic events in the community or while serving our communities.

I'm deeply familiar with LGBTQ+ communities including the ace/aro spectrum, geek/fandom/gamer culture, alternative lifestyles and relationship styles like BDSM and consensual non-monogamy, as well as alternative spiritualities such as Paganism. Many of my clients are transgender, autistic-identified, and/or in the tech industry, though I work with a variety of backgrounds.
