These symptoms can hinder people from achieving goals and enjoying healthier relationships. I can help people feel more confident and connected to live their best lives.

As a licensed therapist, I enjoy working with individuals in all stages of life (adults, children, teens, and families). After spending years as a Denver based mental health clinician, I am thrilled to return to private practice in my hometown of the Roaring Fork Valley. I am able to address a wide range of challenges that we all struggle with at certain points in our lives, including anxiety, trauma, grief, motivation, relationships, depression, and more. Sessions are always grounded in my clients' sense of a trusting and positive therapeutic relationship. This is the foundation from which our work together begins.

Hi! My name is Delfina Huergo and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I received my Master's degree in Psychology and Science from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2007. I worked with Mind Springs Health since 2010 providing bilingual services to children, adolescents and adults, doing both individual and family therapy. Trauma and Abuse, Domestic Violence, Adjustment Disorders, Cultural Matters, etc. I use a combination of Psycho-Analytical, Experiential, Client-Centered, (Trauma Focused) Cognitive Behavioral Therapies and Mindfulness-Based Strategies offered in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

I have found that in therapy, the individual has the opportunity to become more mindful and self aware, which can better serve the person to live more deeply, with more knowledge, and with more happiness. In therapy, the client has the potential to access the wisdom of psyche, from which the individual can achieve positive changes in his or her life. Through being aware of patterns and habits of one's past, the client can make transformations in order to be more mindful through one's life.

With over 20 years as a Jungian based psychotherapist working with individuals, couples, and children, I provide therapy carefully tailored to the need of each individual client in conjunction with the goals set by my clients.
