I meet with people to discuss issues related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and LGBT topics. I have a special interest in providing support through the uncertainty of a medical diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life. I also walk beside people as they cope with grief and bereavement. If it resonates with the person, I have experience leading mindfulness meditation sessions, which has been proven to alleviate stress and anxiety.
I have been a clinical social worker for over 15 years, working in oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as The Wellness Room. While teletherapy is not a preferred means of providing therapy, it is necessary at this time and I have found that it is still a very effective way of connecting with people and offering support.
It is my hope to provide a warm and comforting place for you to share whatever burdens you. Together, we will collaborate to find ways of addressing whatever is weighing on your mind.
