Whether you are feeling stuck, or anxious, overwhelmed, depressed or in despair: I am a seasoned therapist with a practice designed to help you develop the skills you need to face life's challenges and the resilience and strength to prepare you to embrace a new path. I have a particular focus in working with those who find life a lonely and scary experience and who find it difficult to form lasting and meaningful relationships. Some people who are challenged in this way have survived a variety of traumatic experiences. To address this, I have training in several areas of trauma therapy.
Another area of interest is supporting and guiding caretakers in creating boundaries to avoid burnout and be more effective, with relatives, friends or clients. I work with individuals and couples (straight, LGBTQ). Please call to ask any questions about my approach and how I may be of help to you.
